The use of around 200 medicines in Russia may be suspended, and their registration certificates may be revoked, if manufacturers fail inspections for compliance with EAEU good manufacturing practice. Russia’s Ministry of Health cites 200 products at risk, while the Ministry of Industry and Trade cites 195 production sites; more than half of them have not applied for inspection. For 500 medicines that did not manage to submit documents to align with EAEU requirements, registration certificates have been extended for one year as a temporary measure.
